So Arsene Wenger wants to extend his contract beyond it’s date of 2011, he doesn’t want to retire and he doesn’t want to manage another club. All good news indeed. Arsene says he likes the freedom he has to run the footballing side of Arsenal and that was indeed a factor of him not wanting to go to Real Madrid, the club he supported as a boy, the other factor was he made a promise to this current crop that he would see it through
