Ingredients:

  • 1 bundle of kale
  • 1-1 ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. First, cut out the spines (thick, white center) from each kale leaf. It’s easiest if you fold the leaves vertically and cut from top to bottom

Noooo, why are you cutting me :(

  3. Rinse thoroughly in cold water

    I’m clean now!

  4. Pat all leaves dry with paper towels
  5. Cut or break apart leaves to desired size, keeping in mind they will shrink while baking

    Ready to bake!

  6. Place all leaves into a mixing bowl
  7. Add 1 to 1 ½ tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  8. Add a pinch or two of salt
  9. Toss kale, oil and salt together until all leaves have an even coat
  10. Spread kale onto ungreased baking trays, leaving space between each leaf
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until crispy.

    walaaa!!

If they aren’t devoured within the hour, store in an air-tight container or Ziploc bag :)
