In 1937 Paul Dirac wrote; I must say that I am very dissatisfied with the situation, because this so called good theory does involve neglecting infinities which appear in its equations, neglecting them in an arbitrary way. This is similar to what happens in the motion of a wave. This way, when a photon hits the wall, we will know which slit it went through, and we can determine if opening up the second slit actually reduced traffic through the first slit, or redirected it.
