Friday night and no time to Seamless?! No problem! Mrs. T is here to save the day. Simply follow timing on the instructions sheet, load these pups into a big pot of boiling water and salt and pepper to taste!
Friday nights have never gotten off to such good starts…
Milk and cookies go together like blankets on pigs. Yesterday I was informed of what appears to be the biggest breakthrough in food since Hot Pockets were invented. Introducing, the Dipr. A lightweight, easy tool to hold tool that will hold an Oreo while dipping it in milk. A simple & easy to use design. Maybe it’s from the same designers as Ikea furniture? Who knows. Check out the video below.
And a great action shot from a co-worker…
Thanks to @Frohli for this find. He claims it was “recommended” to him on Amazon. I think he just pressed some random keys in the search box to see what came up. Can’t bash him for that – it’s a great find.

Everyone has great food tips and tricks. One of my favorite places to find them is on Reddit’s FoodHacks subreddit. I’m constantly browsing Reddit for the best tips and tricks to test out in my kitchen. I’ll post some of my favorites in a new section here on OMG Let’s BBQ called Food Hacks.
The first hack comes from Reddit user J_Kenji_Lopez-Alt. All too often I wake up after a long night out with cold pizza. As you all know, pizza is a way of life in New York and it’s one of the few places open after 4am. The problem with pizza that’s leftover in the fridge is heating it back up.
I’m sure all of us rely on the microwave to re-heat all types of food, including pizza. The problem is that the pizza dough gets very tough to eat.
Do you have a waffle maker? All you need to do it fold the slice into a triangle and heat it up for a few minutes. BOOM. A pizza pocket!
Pizza is fu*king amazing. I think we can all agree on that. Here in New York the varieties are endless, everything from your basic thin crust to Mexican (hint: Taco Bell). The one thing we are missing? Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust pizza. language translator . Another post to come on that at a later time (I’m furious about this, btw)
The bros over at Epic Meal Time, the infamous group known for YouTube videos of putting the word debauchery into food – has a new creation.
Introducing the Cheeseburger Pizza. Sounds ridiculous? Wait until you watch the video. Keep an eye out in the lower right hand corner at 2:18!
I have to admit, these guys are pretty impressive chefs. Knowing to pre-cook the pizza before the cheeseburgers is something that I would have had no idea to do.
We can all agree that Bloody Mary’s are all pretty good. Over the past few months I have seen some pretty insane Bloody Mary contraptions at restaurants and websites. 192.168 ll Below are 7 that I just could’t believe.
- The first is one that I had the pleasure of enjoying in NYC at recently opened Lobster Joint.
Lobster Claw + Pickle + Standard Condiments
- I CAN HAZ CHEEZEBURGR?

- This list wouldn’t be complete without BACON

The winning Cheese Steak
This past weekend, I took a trip from NYC to Philly. After oversleeping my bus on the morning of and convincing the Chinatown bus company that I pushed my ticket back earlier that day (totally did not) I found myself in Philly two short hours later.
After a little browsing around some of the historic buildings and of course the Liberty Bell, I headed down 9th street to where the infamous Geno’s Steaks and Pat’s King Of Steaks were located. I knew by the end of this trip, one winner needed to emerge between the two. After making sure I knew exactly how to order (I’ve heard the guys can give you some attitude if you don’t know the lingo) I ordered a “Steak Wit Wiz” from both places.
I sat down on the benches in what seemed to be 0 degree weather. Neither place had indoor seating. Both of these were amazing inside and out. Pat’s steak has a distinctive different taste and a thicker whiz, while Geno’s had a lighter whiz. Geno’s was the winner in my opinion.
Pat’s really took the idea of hot peppers over the top. I’m a fan of spicy food and it’s not common to have even hot sauce at condiment counters, it was a pretty nice touch. 192.168.l.l Points to Pat’s.
Being a 24 year old, I obviously documented the experience and posted in on my Instagram. I’m friends with a lot of people from NY, NJ and PA and boy did I not do my proper research. headers check . From Jim’s Steaks down the road to DiNiC’s closer to the heart of the city and then this place called Ishabibbles? Looks like I need to take another trip soon. Who’s coming with me?
Let me know where your favorite cheesesteak from Philly was in the comments or if there are any other places I should try.

If you are a frequent visitor to Reddit like I am, at one point or another you may have ran into this little cooking project called the Shooter Sandwich. A genius, somewhere thought to take a massive piece of bread, cut a hole in it, gut it and stuff it with everything amazing like filet mignon, bacon, cheese and anything else you could dream of. hosting information server information Last Saturday I caved and finally made one for myself. After a few bloody marys and a $75 dollar trip to the neighborhood Key Foods I was ready for action.
