It is amazing to me how well-intentioned, highly educated people can be at such logger-heads over some very basic and seemingly fundamental issues. Clearly the debate reaches beyond science and invades emotion, and likely self-interest (greed?) as well. To introduce a little levity into this whole thing is the intention of today’s DG.A
