(Aberdeen, SCOTLAND) – In the nuclear arms race for world’s strongest beer, BrewDog has reclaimed the title with its 41% ABV IPA, Sink the Bismarck! Within the last week, I wrote about how Schorschbrau trumped the 32% ABV Brewdog Tactical Nuclear Penguin with a 40% ABV beer . I was surprised when Brewdog’s James Watt tweeted the post out to his followers proclaiming that “Tactical Nuclear Penguin is dead.” Makes sense now. Watt knew he had an announcement coming two days later.

Here is the lengthy (30+ min.) interview courtesy of Belmont Party Supply . They cover a lot of ground and we learn that Left Hand Brewing is currently working on some sour beers for future release. Doesn’t sound like it will be bottled/distributed but perhaps as the program gets going, it will

Beer Wars Movie goes mainstream I’ve watched the film and though I enjoyed it, I think this presents a great opportunity for those who really need to see it: the Bud/Miller/Coors drinkers. It will be interesting to see how much buzz this generates now that it has mainstream distribution. FWIW, I first discovered some of this news in December .
