Once again this post was inspired by Tina . I had never made a bourbon marinade. I used a few of the ingredients from Tina’s recipe but then did my own thing once I cruised around the net looking at variations.
Tonight I played my last show ever at the Uptown Bar with my band Spacewolf. We played from 10:15 – 10:45 and then immediately after loading out I hauled ass over the Varsity Theater with my friends Kat and Lisa to watch Lucero

In a move completely out of character for a man who made his Hollywood name sitting on a barstool, George Wendt has released a suds-soaked pseudo memoir, Drinking with George: A Barstool Professional’s Guide to Beer . Wendt is a Chicago native who grew up in Beverly in the 50’s and 60’s and met his wife, Bernadette Birkett (the sister of DuPage County State’s Attorney Joe Birkett), while sharing the Second City stage.

For Today : October 19, 2009 Outside my window …It is a gloriously bright, sunshiny day!! I praise the Lord for the sun’s rays. It is cool, but it seems warmer just being able to see the sun! We had six days last week without even a hint of sunlight at all.
