    Brewery’s Beer-Making Powers Hospital

    Well if this isn’t irony I don’t know what is. The City Brewery in La Crosse, Wisconsin has now begun a heat and power project that utilizes methane gas created at the brewery and converts it into clean energy to run nearby Gundersen Lutheran hospital. Methane from the brewery process is captured to run a biogas Jenbacher engine that in turn produces electricity that is then sent back to the grid

    Not to be outdone by Chicago , HOK WDC hosted a book-launch party for our own Leigh Stringer and her fabulous book The Green Workplace on Tuesday, October 6.
