    It was a cold, rainy November Friday evening when my Japanese friend, rock and roll and tattoo brother Kenny Shangrila took me to the Boogie Café in Yokohama. On my way from Bangkok to Chicago via Japan, I had a three-day layover in Japan where I would be hanging out with Kenny.

    Thai : Bbq Chicken Appetizer

    3 Lb Chicken Wings ¼ C Garlic — Chopped 1 Tbsp Cilantro — Chopped 1 Tsp Tumeric — Ground 1 ½ Tsp Chiles — Dried and ground 1 Tbsp Sugar ¼ Tsp Salt 3 Tbsp Nouc Mam ½ C Coconut Milk Process all marinade ingredients in a blender until smooth. Marinate chicken, refrigerated, overnight.
