I have a t-shirt at home that says “I [picture of a bike] PHL.” I got it as a gift and I wear it because… well, it looks cool. What I didn’t know, at least until this moment, was that it is the logo for the “I Bike Philly” pledge, promising to bike safely by wearing a helmet, respecting pedestrians, lights and the rules of the road

Locks Deli at the corner of 28th & Market closed last Thursday and Sharif’s has already opened in its place. Sharif’s is the new store owned by Steven Saleh, who also owns Saleh’s at the corner of 24th & 80th. Saleh says he has changes planned for the space including a huge wine selection, beer from around the world, gourmet cheese, espresso and a full deli that will serve their signature Philly Cheesesteak sandwich.
