The cycling world is in mourning. Frank Vandenbroucke, 34 years old cyclist, former winner of Liege-Bastogne-Liege has been found dead in a hotel room in Senegal where he was on holiday. Victor of 54 races in a brilliant but often tormented career, the Belgian cyclist had already tried twice to commit suicide without success.

This is our favorite sloppy joe recipe, and it well feeds our family! I generally double it so I can put 1/2 in the freezer for another meal, but if you don’t want to do that you can just make it as is. If you do want to make some to freeze for later – 4lbs of hamburger is all I can generally brown in my large electric skillet so I brown two batches, then once drained, I put all 8lbs back in the skillet, and add the other ingredients until heated through. Went with the family to a Clippers game in September and took a few shots (not too many, since this was the day I fell down a flight of stairs and busted my tailbone… I was mostly wandering around like an old lady). My sister is definitely quite the beer-sippin’ baller in this shot.
