    This Thing Of Dogness…

Back when I was pretty sure that I could fly if I really tried, I thought dogs could fly, too. A set of Supertoys helped make that happen, since during that sunshiney, toy-happy time, you could buy not just Superman, but an entire Superfamily, featuring, as I recall, a Superboy, a Supergirl, and more

W&M 24, JMU 3: A Happy Homecoming for the Tribe

Well my Royal Dukes weren’t up to the challenge at the William & Mary Homecoming Game this Saturday.  While I didn’t need to see a trouncing, I hoped that JMU would at least show up to the game.  But by the end of the 4th quarter, as the score crept up to an embarrassing 24 to 3, the JMU fans started to leave accompanied by a loud rendition of: Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Good Bye… We had a good run last year.  I guess it was our turn. My First Picture with the Duke Dog

    The rest is here:

Fetch yer Paintcans and Pickaxes, we’ve got a wall to take down.

(For a cool visual presentation on the Berlin Wall, click here . It is in German, but it’s pretty neat to watch regardless) I was at a gala Thursday evening. It was the first time I’d ever been to a gala before, and I wasn’t sure what to expect
